The Northern Lite

The Northern Lite is our premium, Northern branded, Olympic women’s standard barbell. It weighs 15kg, and is capable of holding up to 500kg in weight. These have been rigorously tested by the manufacturer for their durability, while also testing their weight-bearing capacity to the max.

The needle bearings with brass bushings allow great whip for Olympic lifting, with the ends designed to grip effectively with collars and prevent slippage of the weights.

The knurling is 1.2mm, with dual ring marks on either end of the bar. The spring steel bar is finished in black chrome with chrome sleeves, for a really beautiful piece of kit.
